Vestcap was founded in 1988 by M. Nugent Schneider with the goal of providing clients with highly personalized and attentive investment management services. The three principals of Vestcap employ their extensive backgrounds in the investment industry to pick the highest-quality mid- and large-capitalization Canadian and US stocks, with a value/contrarian orientation.
Somerset Capital Advisers, LLC
Somerset is a registered investment adviser that manages Somerset Capital Partners, LP, a long-short value-oriented hedge fund that has been running since 1999. Somerset divides their investment efforts into two hemispheres, stock picking and risk management. They employ a bottom-up valuation-driven investment process, with an emphasis on stocks trading meaningfully below what they believe them to be intrinsically worth.
Modern Asset Management provides a similar service to Artemis, only with a focus on US-based investors. It aims to tailor tax-efficient wealth management solutions to meet the needs of clients’ dynamic financial situations. The firm’s managing director, Sean Lawless, CFA, has 20 years of industry experience specializing in investment manager selection and due diligence.
